Susan Baker – Director, Editorial Services
Susan joined Westchester Publishing Services in 2002, overseeing the Editorial Services Division from its inception to a book department which today handles work for over thirty clients in diverse fields, and a journals department managing more than eighty separate publications. Previously Vice President of Production at Greenwood Publishing Group from 1992 to 2002, Susan has over thirty-five years of book production experience, overseeing all phases of production from manuscript to print for over six hundred new titles per year, and hands-on experience in most production functions. Her areas of responsibility have included recruitment of staff in all areas of book and journal production; negotiation of print contracts; and print-on-demand, eBook, database, and XML implementation. Susan received her Bachelor’s in English from Vassar College. Key client publishers include Harvard University Press, Columbia University Press, Yale University Press, and about 20 more university presses; W.W.
